Our Role on Beach Street
A physical hotel and entertainment venue for guests 18 and over. We employ local people, buy from Otago producers, and sit alongside our neighbours on one of Queenstown's busiest streets.

01 — Kitchen
We prioritise local suppliers for the ingredients in our kitchen. Otago farmers and growers provide the seasonal produce on our restaurant menu, which means our dishes reflect what is actually growing in the region at any given time of year. This keeps our menu honest and gives our kitchen team a direct relationship with the people who grow what they cook.
02 — Cellar
Our bar list features wines from Central Otago vineyards and spirits from regional distillers. By partnering with local winemakers, we ensure our guests experience the true character of the region's cellar — not a generic national portfolio. Our bar staff can tell you which Gibbston or Bannockburn vineyard produced the Pinot Noir in your glass.
03 — Suites
The artwork in our suites comes from regional craftspeople, not from a catalogue. We work with Otago-based artists and furniture makers so that our rooms feel like they belong in Queenstown rather than in any hotel anywhere. This approach supports the local economy, reduces the environmental cost of shipping, and gives our guests something they will not find in another town.

On-site Only
Our gaming lounge and on-site casino floor operate on the premises only. No online wagering, remote betting, or internet gambling is offered or promoted. Entry is restricted to guests aged 18 and over with valid photo ID.
Support Services
We provide funding and on-site resources for support services, ensuring that our entertainment facilities contribute positively to the community. Our staff are trained to recognise when a guest may need help and to provide information about the New Zealand Gambling Helpline — 0800 654 655.
Host Responsibility
Every team member in our bar and gaming lounge completes host responsibility training. We track this internally and refresh it regularly, because a licensed venue is only as good as the people working the floor on any given night.
